BIRTHDAY MADNESS

Just wanted to share with you two projects that I have done for Hagan's 4th birthday party :)
Serving trays from Dollar Tree

Candlesticks from Dollar Tree

Custom cupcake tray

I'm in love with Krylon's Baner Red in gloss.  I also love the details on the edge of the trays.  Are you all sick of tiered dessert trays yet???  They are all over blogland and I'm guilty of many, but I still love them.  I could have spent $6 (on clearance) on a cardboard Mickey Mouse cupcake stand, but why??  This way I can always repaint them and use for another party!
I acquired this bucket last summer and needed something to put the party favors in, so......used this:

This stuff is so AWESOME!  It seriously covered the picture on the bucket in one coat!  It smells to high heaven, but works really well!  This is what I did to dress it up:
My goal today is to finish setting everything up so I can enjoy my Friday evening!

Have a great weekend everyone!
Libby :)

  2. Cute! Looks like you're doing a Mickey theme, too. I'm working on a Minnie theme for my little girl (minniemousebirthday.blogspot.com). I love your repurposed ideas! Love for you to link to our Crafts for Under Twenty Somethings party going on now until noon tomorrow!!
